2)High Standard for repair
Repairs must pass 95 points of quality control inspection before it is returned to the owner. We practice a process of checking each others work at each stage of repair to prevent any delays by having to move backwards to fix an issue that doesn’t pass our standards. The final judge of our repair work is our customer and we go through a thorough inspection with them and show them how to see that it is a quality repair.

Express Autobody opened our doors in April of 2006. Our facility is on 3 acres and composed of 4 separate buildings. Our paint department is in a separate building from our metal to prevent contaminants in the paint. Our buildings are large enough to park all moveable vehicles indoors over night. We are well equipped with the technology and machinery to fix almost any kind of car and any kind of damage. We have 2 Spanesi computerized measuring systems that can measure a vehicle’s frame to 1/100th of a centimeter. We have 4 chief frame systems. 14) We schedule according to the repair
Yet another thing we do to expedite the process of repair. It’s a common practice in most body shops to bring the weeks work all in on Monday and get it all out by Friday. The thought behind this process is that vehicles wouldn’t have to be kept over the weekend when nobody is working on it. The problem with this process is that a vehicle will show up Monday morning and repairs won’t begin until Tuesday afternoon because the technicians had 10 other cars to get to as well. This just doesn’t work. So, we plan our repairs according to the schedule of each technician and their capacity. This streamlines the repair for every vehicle in our shop and prevents any issues with “bottle-necking”.

To accommodate your busy schedule we have extended hours throughout the week. Monday – Friday we are open 7:00am – 6:00pm. We are also open Saturday from 8:00am – 12:00pm.

30) Complimentary drive home / pick up
Having a collision is an inconvenience and we take any measure we can to accommodate you. When you drop off your vehicle for repairs we will have a rental car waiting. If you choose not to get a rental car we will happily give you a ride to your home or office. This also goes for picking you up once the vehicle's repairs are completed.
31) Full detail service
Before the car gets returned to its owner, we perform a full detail service. We will clean the exterior and interior of the vehicle. This includes removing any trash, vacuuming the carpet, cleaning the inside and outside of the windows, degreasing any grime on the wheels, wiping down door jambs, cleaning surface dirt in the engine, and shining the tires.
32) Courtesy mechanical check up
As a courtesy, we check over the well-being of your car before it gets returned to you. We will air up your tires, top of your coolant and windshield wiper fluid. If there are any warning lights on, even if they aren’t collision related, we will diagnose them for you and even get them resolved if you wish.
33) Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Express Autobody has an on staff Paint less Dent Repair (PDR) technician. It’s very common for our customers to want to take care of small dents while the vehicle is already at the shop. And because we do not have to out source our PDR work we can offer it at a very competitive price.
34) Extra Services
Being a highly efficient business we want to help our customers with their efficiencies in getting any extra services to their vehicle performed. We will get bed liner, window tinting, wheel refurbishing, tire replacement, mechanical work and various other services performed while your vehicle is at our shop. Doing this for our customers saves them the time out of their day finding quality business to perform these services and taking their vehicle there themselves.
35) Complimentary Services
Free of charge Express Autobody performs complimentary services to each vehicle that gets repaired here. We will check windshield washer and coolant fluid levels and top them off if they need it. We check the pressure of each tire and add air if needed. We will charge a battery if it’s low on life. We store vehicles indoors over night, which some shops charge as much as $75 a night storage fee for this service. Our full interior and exterior detail service is complimentary as well.
36) Set up towing
If your vehicle is un-drivable and needs to be towed to our facilities we will happily make the towing arrangements for you. We are partnered with A Day And Night Wrecker (512-255-3513) for any towing needs South of us, and we use Wiley’s Wrecker service (512-863-0263) for anything North of us.
37) In-House Rental through Hertz Local Edition
You can consider us a one stop shop for all of your vehicle replacement needs. We have partnered with Hertz local edition to stock an entire fleet of rental vehicles that we keep full of gas and as clean as a new penny for each of our customers that have rental needs. So, the people who know about you and your repair are the same people putting you in your rental. We have all of your contract information pre-filled out and the vehicle waiting up front so that dropping off your vehicle and getting into your rental is a breeze. 38) Scent Wafers
We pay attention to your vehicle right down to the smell. We have three high quality scent wafers that you can choose to have put under your seat during the detail process. The three are New Leather, Clean Car, and April Fresh.
39) Process maps
There is a lot more involved in the repair process than just metal and paint work. We provide each of our customers with a process map that details all of the stages of repair that their vehicle will go through. When we call with status updates to the repair, you are able to refer to the map to see what's been done and what's about to happen.
40) We keep your vehicle clean during repair
You don’t have to worry about dirt or overspray getting into your interior. During the check in process a floor mat, a seat cover, and a steering wheel cover are put in the car. When the vehicle is getting repaired a welding blanket is used to cover any part of the interior to avoid a spark leaving a burn mark or metal particles settling into the inside of your car. During the paint process the vehicle is covered and taped to prevent even the smallest amount of overspray getting inside. So, don’t you worry about your car being in a body shop. We will always go the extra mile to keep it perfect, just the way you like it.
41) We give you free stuff
When you walk into the door we will offer you a free soda, bottled water, or cup of coffee. We also have some cool key chains (a tire pressure gauge and a thermometer/compass) and high quality pens and we encourage you to take one.
