A Virtual Shop Tour of Express Autobody

	(1)Paint Booth We have a 63 foot long tunnel type spray booth divided into two parts; one is used for the water-based color coat and the other is used for the clear coat.  Having this kind of booth increases our productivity levels to accommodate a higher volume of vehicles than most shops.
	(2)Cut- In Booth Separate from the paint booths we have a cut-in booth and a curtained prep station that provides a dust and particle free space to apply primer before the vehicles are moved into the paint booths.
	(3)UV Primer On smaller repairs the vehicle is taped off and sprayed with ultraviolet primer and then set under an ultra violet light to cure quickly.  This is another way that we increase the timeliness of the each repair that we do.
	(4)Detail We expect every car to leave our facilities looking like a shiny new penny, whether it’s a 2001 model or a 2010.  Every vehicle gets a complimentary full detail inside and out, from cleaning the glass to shinning the tires.
	(5)Blueprint lab In the Blue Print Lab we perform our CDR’s and it is here that we disassemble vehicles before repair to create an entire repair plan.  We are equipped with a full lift as well as a Spanesi measuring tool to find all possible damage.
	(6)Parts Racks Located directly next to our parts department we store all of our parts racks.  Each vehicle gets assigned a mobile rack where all the pre-ordered parts are stored and waiting for their vehicle to arrive, and once that happens they get rolled over to the Metal shop. Additionally any parts removed from a vehicle are stored here for safe keeping.
	(7)Final QC The final stage of repair is the Final Quality Control check.  We do one last inspection of the repairs and of the paint work as well as checking fluid levels and that all lights work to insure the vehicle’s drivability.
	(8)Frame Machine We have 3 frame racks to make sure there is no delay for any vehicle needing unibody or frame alignment.
	(9)Welding We have 3 different types of MIG welders and 2 different types of resistance welders.  We insure that there is no shortage of tools necessary to provide repairs for every kind of damage and every kind of vehicle.
	(10)Spanesi We measure every vehicle, on our Spanesi computerized measuring system which is able to read the specs of any vehicle’s frame to within 1/100 of a centimeter.  Uncorrected structural damage can prevent the safety features from working correctly in a future accident, which is why we make sure to check every vehicle, no matter how minor the damage is.
	(11)Community Room We have a 720 sq. ft. Community Room that we rent out to local organizations as a part of our mission to be a good citizen and a good neighbor.  This room has two handicap accessible bathrooms, a full refrigerator, sink and microwave, a vending machine and many outlets to accommodate a variety of uses.
	(12)Gated Facilities Vehicles left outside are locked behind a tall chain-link fence and are protected by motion detecting security devices.  Moveable vehicles are almost always locked up inside one of our buildings.
	(13)Detail Bay Every vehicle is washed about 3 times throughout the repair.  We perform a pre-rinse to see all damage, a wash before paint to prevent contaminants, and a final detail.  We have a 350 gallon Reverse Osmosis Water Purification system that allows us to wash each vehicle with spot free water.
	(14)Front Office Our Front Office/ Customer Waiting Area is located to the side of our office building.  With our customers in mind we have created an inviting and comfortable waiting room.  We provide a variety of magazines, toys, and even movies to make any waiting time more pleasant.
