 Express Autobody’s 6,000 square foot metal shop features two Kansas Jack Quick Anchor unibody and frame alignment racks, one Chief Classic II frame rack, a Spanesi “Touch” computerized measuring system,Kansas Jack Laser measuring system, two 175 amp MIG welders, one 250 amp MIG welder, one Lors squeeze type resistance welder, one Lenco “panel spotter” resistance welder, two stud welders, an oxy/acetylene torch set, and all of the other tools and equipment necessary to perform top quality repairs in the minimum of time.
Our metal technicians perform unibody and frame alignment here as well as measuring possible alignment issues in this building.In a typical repair the vehicle goes to this shop first, where it is disassembled, the unibody or frame corrections are performed, any panel replacement is done, and any other repairs to the body are performed. Then the vehicle goes to the paint shop where it is painted, to the detail shop where it is polished, and then is returned to this shop for final reassembly.
